Our Beliefs

The Bible

We believe that the entire Old and New Testaments are the complete Word of God; inspired by the Holy Spirit, the only rule of faith and behavior, and the basis of all Christian unity.

God

We believe in one God, the Creator of the universe, the holy, almighty, everlasting God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, who are all one in three.

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ has two true natures: God and man; He coexisted with God the Father and shared the glory before His incarnation. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He died on the cross to atone for the sins of mankind. Believers are justified by His precious blood. After His death, He was resurrected bodily, ascended gloriously to heaven, and serves as a mediator. He will come again in the future.

Holy Spirit

We believe in the perfect divinity and person of the Holy Spirit; He makes people aware of sin, understand righteousness and judgment; He regenerates people, sanctifies people and justifies them, and brings comfort and enlightenment to all who believe in Jesus.

People

We believe that man was created in the image of God, but fell because of sin and disobedience, suffering death and pain in body and soul, and is guilty before God. He is totally depraved and fallen, leading to physical and spiritual death.

Salvation

We believe that salvation is God's grace of election; determined by God the Father, Christ's voluntary death of atonement; justified by faith, believing that Christ's sacrifice and resurrection are sufficient. Because God has chosen us, He will keep us to the end.

The Last Things

We believe in the glorious bodily coming of Christ, the bodily resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous, the resurrection of the righteous to eternal bliss, and the resurrection of the wicked to eternal punishment.

Local Church

We believe that the church is composed of believers who are called out from the world and are sanctified to Christ. They are willing to serve each other with the truth, build each other up, declare their faith and follow the prescribed rituals. We believe that the church is a self-sustaining and self-reliant individual, under the leadership of Christ, each of them uses the gifts given by God.

Sacrament

We believe in the two sacraments observed by the New Testament church:
(i) Baptism is the immersion of the believer’s whole body in water in obedience to Christ’s command. Through baptism, believers signify their death, burial, and resurrection with Christ.
(ii) The Lord's Supper is a meal in which believers use bread and wine to represent the body and blood of Christ. Believers remember the Lord and His death until He comes again.
